Metal Materials for Custom Signs
Choose metal materials based on appearance, strength, weight, installation conditions, and long-term maintenance. Azovo offers several metal options for dimensional letters, logos, light boxes, and architectural signage.
Stainless Steel
Available in 201, 304, and 316 grades. Stainless steel provides a clean, durable-looking finish for dimensional letters, logos, and building signs. Grade selection depends on indoor or outdoor use, exposure to moisture, and project requirements.
Aluminum Alloys
A lightweight option for channel letters, sign cabinets, frames, and large signs. Aluminum can be fabricated into different shapes and finished with paint or powder coating. Alloy, thickness, and structural requirements are confirmed for each project.
Copper
A distinctive metal option for decorative letters, premium logos, and architectural signs. Copper can be polished or finished for different visual effects. Natural oxidation, surface protection, and maintenance requirements should be considered before production.
Galvanized Steel
A practical material for sign cabinets, back panels, and internal structures. Surface preparation, coating protection, and installation conditions are important when galvanized steel is used outdoors.
Acrylic & Plastic Materials for Custom Signs
Acrylic and plastic materials offer different levels of transparency, color, light diffusion, and design flexibility. Select the material according to the required appearance, illumination, sign size, and installation environment.
Clear Acrylic
A transparent material for dimensional letters, layered logos, and decorative sign panels. It can be cut, engraved, polished, and shaped to achieve clean edges and detailed designs.
Opal & Diffuser Acrylic
A suitable choice for illuminated sign faces, light boxes, and glowing logos. Its light-diffusing properties help create a more even appearance when combined with the correct LED layout and sign depth.
Colored Acrylic
Available in different color and transparency options, subject to supplier specifications. Colored acrylic can be used for dimensional letters, logo faces, and illuminated signs. Daytime color and illuminated appearance should be checked separately.
PVC & Other Plastics
PVC can be used for indoor dimensional letters, back panels, and display signage. Material density, thickness, surface finish, and environmental suitability are selected according to the application.
Metal Surface Finishes & Treatments
The same metal can produce very different visual effects. Choose a surface finish that suits your brand style, viewing distance, indoor or outdoor conditions, and maintenance expectations.
Brushed Finish
Creates a fine directional texture with a soft metallic appearance. Available brushing directions can be specified to maintain a consistent look across letters and panels.
Mirror Finish
Produces a highly reflective surface for polished logos and architectural letters. Surface handling, installation, and cleaning require extra care to reduce visible marks.
Polished Finish
Creates a smooth, refined metallic surface. The final appearance depends on the base material, polishing process, and specified finish level.
Natural Metal Finish
Preserves the natural appearance of the selected metal. Suitable for designs where the original metal color and surface character are important.
Plated Finish
Adds a specified metallic coating or decorative appearance to suitable components. Color, coating type, substrate, and finish consistency require sample approval.
Oxidized & Patinated Finish
Creates aged or naturally developed surface effects where specified. Appearance and color changes depend on the metal, treatment process, and exposure conditions.
Custom Paint Colors & Brand Color Matching
Keep your signage aligned with your brand identity through custom color selection, paint finishes, and approved physical samples.
Custom Painted Colors
Specify colors for metal letters, sign cabinets, frames, and other suitable components. Black, white, gray, red, blue, green, and other brand colors can be reviewed against your reference.
Powder-Coated Colors
Powder coating offers decorative and protective surface options for suitable metal components. Choose the required color, gloss level, and texture based on the sign design and installation environment.
Matching Brand Colors
Share your Pantone reference, brand guidelines, color specification, or existing physical sample.Azovo can develop and compare material-specific color samples before production.
LED Lighting Colors & Color Temperatures
Choose the lighting effect that suits your brand and installation environment. Azovo supports fixed LED colors, custom white-light color temperatures, RGB/RGBW lighting, and project-specific dimming options.
Warm White
Creates a softer, warmer appearance for hotel signs, restaurants, interior logos, and decorative commercial signage.
Neutral White
Provides a balanced white-light appearance for offices, retail environments, and general commercial signs.
Cool White
Creates a crisp white-light appearance for modern storefront signs, illuminated letters, and building logos.
Fixed LED Colors
Red, blue, green, yellow, and other specified lighting colors can be reviewed for illuminated letters, logos, light boxes, and LED neon signs.
RGB & RGBW Lighting
RGB and RGBW options allow multiple lighting colors and adjustable effects. Controller type, color settings, dimming, and operating modes are confirmed before production.
Daytime & Nighttime
An illuminated sign may look different when switched off. Face material, LED color, sign depth, wall color, and surrounding light all affect the final appearance.

How We Control Materials, Finishes & Color Consistency
A material sample should represent the approved production standard, not just an attractive surface. Azovo uses defined specifications, physical samples, and manufacturing checks to support consistent results.
01
Confirm Material Specifications
Review material grade, thickness, finish, color reference, gloss level, and installation conditions. Record the approved details before production.
02
Prepare & Approve Samples
Provide material, color, finish, or lighting samples where required. Customers can review the appearance through physical samples, images, videos, or video sample inspections.
03
Follow Approved Production Standards
Use the latest approved drawings, reference samples, material specifications, and applicable process records to guide manufacturing.
04
Inspect Finishes & Compare Batches
Check visible surfaces, finish direction, color appearance, material identification, and relevant production records. Project-specific tests can be arranged according to the product and application.
